Although the market share is not equal to Android smartphones, the world's best-selling product still belongs to an Apple iPhone model.

Various iPhone models hold 7 positions on the list of 10 best-selling smartphones in 2022, with the iPhone 13 leading the list. That's the result of a recent study from Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) to evaluate the companies that will dominate the mobile industry in 2022. They mainly looked at smartphones with OLED screens and discovered. that 7 of the top 10 models are iPhones.

iPhone 13 was the best-selling product in the smartphone market last year.

Apple is the most popular in terms of sales and revenue, with the iPhone 13 topping the sales with 8% market share. iPhone 14 Pro Max leads in revenue with 11% market share, followed by iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max . The company also dominated the fourth quarter of 2022 with four of the five best-selling iPhones in terms of sales and revenue. For example, iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro account for 25% and 38% market share of sales and revenue respectively.

For Q1/2023, DSCC expects the top 5 phone models to be iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and Samsung Galaxy A54. Analysts also believe that these 5 smartphones will account for 39% of sales and 50% of revenue in terms of smartphone market share.

Apple is most popular in terms of Top10 smartphone sales and revenue.

According to DSCC, Apple will introduce LPTO panels in the iPhone 17 lineup. This technology allows the screen to dramatically and dynamically change its refresh rate.

A separate report from Counterpoint Research on March 7 listed the iPhone as accounting for eight of the top 10 global smartphones. In that ranking, the iPhone 13 topped with 5% market share for the full year, followed by the iPhone 13 Pro Max (2.6 percent) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (1.7 percent). The only supplier other than Apple on the list is Samsung, with the Galaxy A13 (1.6%) in 4th place and the Galaxy A03 (1.1%) in 10th place.
